Our objective, through lectures and visits, is to broaden knowledge and enjoyment of the arts, sharing the experience with like-minded people in a friendly and sociable setting. The membership fee includes:

- A programme of 10 illustrated lectures by expert speakers. Subjects can include Painting, Architecture, Gardens, Cultural history, Technology, Design and the broader Arts at home or abroad.  

- Lectures, which are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 8:00pm (except July and August). (Coffee and biscuits served from 7:30pm.) These are also available to members via Zoom. 

- Guided visits to art galleries, museums, places of special historic or architectural interest and longer trips in the UK or abroad (with an additional cost).

- All members will receive a copy of The Arts Society Review three times a year. In addition, each year we hold a new members coffee morning

If you wish to come to an individual lecture, you are welcome to attend as a visitor for a suggested donation of £10.
