Morning City walk - contemporary architecture
Thursday 20 September 2018

MORNING CITY WALK – CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE

This morning walk will start in the Herzog and de MeuronSpiral’ at Tate Modern on the South Bank, for an overview of the architecture of the City of London.  We will continue over Norman Foster’s Millennium Bridge, with its river views to St Paul’s Cathedral and 1 New Change where we will visit the roof garden.  We will then continue through the City to see at close hand the iconic new buildings familiarly known as theGherkin’, the ‘Walkie Talkie’ and the ‘Cheesegrater’. We will be led by an experienced and knowledgeable city guide who will arrange entry to the buildings where possible. There will be a coffee-break during the morning.
